Last night I had dinner with my friend Robin at Las Delicias. We went to a different location than the one I had been to before, and this one had a cute little patio.
We had planned last week to try and have dinner this week since we hadn't seen each other in a few weeks. I suggested going to Las Delicias because Rob had never been there. She loved it! Seriously… its some of the best mexican food I've ever put in my mouth. Their steak quesadilla is to die for. Along with their chips, salsa, and guac. Mom and Dad--next time you come to Memphis, I want to take y'all here… I think you'd really like it!!
And today I kept the Wright kids morning-afternoon, and then kept Elisabeth in the evening.
And just for a good laugh… I gotta post this.
As I was getting Elisabeth ready for bed--bathed, changed, teeth brushed, books read, itouch playing, sound machine and air purifier on, and prayers said-- she said she wanted to write a card for her mom for when she got home. I told her I'd write whatever she wanted to say and then she could sign the bottom. And this was our final product…
(The Delta Fair is a fair that comes to town every year… the one T and I went to a few weeks ago. And the whole "new sheets for my bed" thing is because Elisabeth just got new bedding/curtains in her bedroom. Which is here… I love all the fabrics Kim picked out!!
And she signed it "Evie" instead of "Elisabeth".)
I mean, really. So sweet, cute, and funny--all at the same time!
