Crockpot BBQ Ribs

Here is a great recipe to make BBQ Ribs.

I got this recipe as a result of Brittany, my SIL. She hosted a "Stock the Kitchen" shower for me and had the great idea of sending each guest a recipe card with their invitation. The guests brought their recipe cards filled out to the shower and Brittany compiled them in a book for me. That's how I got this recipe!

Ingredients:

a rack of ribs (I got baby back ribs)
brown sugar
minced garlic
onion
can of Coke
BBQ sauce

Directions:

Place ribs in crock pot.
Mix brown sugar and garlic and rub over ribs.

Add slices of onion (I already had red onion so thats what I used. I think the recipe actually calls for white).
Add can of coke to cover bottom half of ribs.

Cook for 5-6 hours.
Add BBQ sauce on top of the ribs during the last 30 minutes/1 hour of cook time.

These ribs literally fell off the bone. They were that tender!

I'm not a huge fan of ribs, but know Troy loves them, so that's why I decided to make them. But I have to admit…they were pretty tasty!
