Troy and I carved our pumpkins for Halloween last night.
I'd say it was a grand improvement since last time we had carved a pumpkin together! See 2010.
Here is a little timeline of pumpkins past.
2009--Dad and I carved a Power T.
2010--Troy had just had his rotator cuff surgery so he was of little assistance, but we carved a spider "together";)
2011--I didn't actually carve a pumpkin, instead, used puff paint to make an initial pumpkin.
2012--And now here are our masterpieces from this year!
Troy did the yucky part… gutting the pumpkins.
Please excuse the janky extension cord… we had been watching FNL on his iPad and we hook up the iHome to it so we can use the speakers and make the volume louder--because we're redneck like that :)
That huge knife is making me nervous! I used one of those itty-bitty knives from a pumpkin carving kit we borrowed from T's workout partner/pharm student friend, Joey--because we're cheap like that :)
All done!
I think our pumpkins totally fit us… my love of monogrammed things and his love for The Boys!
"My sheets are monogrammed, so is my silverware and pretty much everything else I own. My rule is, if its not moving, monogram it." --Reese Witherspoon
Hope everyone had lots of treats and only a few tricks tonight! :)
Also, another Halloween-related timeline… my niece dressed in costume!

And Halloween #2
