MIA

I feel like I've been MIA from this blog thing. Although its only been since Thursday since I've blogged, it feels like its been longer than that! I feel like I've been everywhere besides behind my computer. So here we gooooo… what I've been up to since Thursday (because I know you're dying to know, ha! Kidding.)

Thursday, Janie and I played "ABC's"

And Friday… we made lots of silly faces.

Later Friday night, Sara and Will came in town to visit and to run in The Color Run on Saturday. Sara tried to sign up for the one in Nashville (which T and I are doing), but it was already sold out, so they decided to run in the Memphis one… which made me happy because they got to come here! We ate at Las Delicias Friday night while T was still at school studying :(

I wish we could have visited longer… T left early Saturday to head back to school, I left to head to middle TN for a wedding, and they came back to our house to shower and get ready to then drive to Birmingham for a wedding. Busy, busy, busy, are we!!

I got Sara to send me a picture of them from the run since we didn't get one during the short but very sweet visit.

This is what T and I have to look forward to… messy paint galore :)

I made it to H'ville around 1:00 and visited with my parents AND REECE… yes, Reece came home!!, then got ready and met my friend Katie to drive together to go to Kiersten's wedding. Katie, Kiersten, and I all lived together during the year I lived in Murfreesboro.

It was a gorgeous day for a wedding! Congratulations Kiersten and Marcus!

I took a few pictures at the wedding…

This was right after the ceremony ended. They both looked so happy!

The bride and groom getting some pictures made after the ceremony...

So Katie and I met in Glenbrook to ride together to Cottontown--where the wedding was. She came from Murfreesboro, I came from Memphis. I got in the car and was like, "Oh my goodness… are we wearing the same dress?!" And basically, we were. Haha, we kept referring to ourselves as the roomie twins. :)

I finally stole the bride's attention to get a picture :-)

And all of us together… just like The Pointe, minus Charlsie

Their first dance, very sweet

I got back to H'ville around 7:00, stopped by Troy's Maw's house… they were having a family get-together and I thought I'd drop by and say "hey"… after all I AM a Watson now, haha :) Then I headed back to watch another gut-wrenching, heart break of a game with Mom, Dad, Reece, Courtney, and this little squirt. Macy Kate. The 8 lb. ruler of the Hayes home.

Poor Vols. Poor Dooley. Poor Big Orange Country.

Sunday we went to church then I had lunch with my dearest Laine and Leslie. Wish I would have gotten a picture… I keep on forgetting to take pictures. Love you girls… can't wait for life events with you! At this point, I'd be thrilled with just a triple date :) Hope your teams did good in kickball :)

After lunch, I napped (yes, guilty as charged) then my Nana and Pappy came over and got to visit for a while. This past week they had their 50th anniversary! Wow, what a blessing not only to them, but to my dad as their son and now to me as their granddaughter!

Not as initially planned, I stayed Sunday night and left early this morning to return back to my husband! He had his test today and thinks he did well, which is great! I did some things around the house, since I had been gone two days, and then we went to the pumpkin patch and picked out our pumpkins for the season! Last time we got a pumpkin (2010), Troy was in a sling from his rotator cuff surgery. This year, he can actually help carve! :)

P.S. look at how HUGE that pumpkin is next to me in the picture. Can you imagine how heavy it must be?!

And tonight Troy had his CHAMPIONSHIP SOFTBALL GAME AND THEY WON!! WOOO HOOOO! Here's the winning team!

All I wanted to know is if they got tshirts for being the champions. And they do!! At UT, the intramural champion tshirts were a BIG deal. Getting an intramural champion tshirt was like getting a ring from the Super Bowl. Seriously. No exaggeration. I can't wait to jack Troy's champion tshirt… after all, I'm the one who does the laundry :)
