While M and JD were at school today, I hid this spider in a GREAT spot if I do say so myself! :)
This morning Madeline opened up her "present of the day" and got play-doh. She immediately wanted to open and play with it, but we were about to head out the door, so I promised we'd play when they got back home… and that's exactly what we did :)
We made a beautiful flower...
She made some grapes…
John David's "present of the day" was a box of legos that made Ironman. He worked on it after school until he left for swim.
M and I continued to play with play-doh while he was gone… here is a spider...
And a frog...
And a cat...
That was then converted into Rapunzel
And a family of snails. (M is all about families… she talks about animals having families, all of her stuffed animals are in families… "mommy, daddy, big sister, and baby etc.")
Hank came back in town today. I was there when Madeline got to see him and she sure was happy to see her Daddy! (JD was at swim)
Once I left their house, I headed home to then leave with Troy to go to his tutoring session/review. He had his first co-ed flag football game later, so I just left with him and sat through the Pharmacokinetics (say that 5 times fast!) review to then go to his game… so we could just ride together/not have 2 cars.
Thank goodness for his iPad… otherwise I would have super-suffered through that hour and a half! ;)
After tutoring, we grabbed a quick dinner then headed to the fields. They played a med-student team and DOMINATED them!
I love seeing my blonde headed QB in his prime.
Sure do miss watching him play college ball...
Gotta love crystal-clear cell phone pictures. I would TOTALLY bring my Canon to his games… I'm just afraid I'll embarrass him!! :) Better to ask for forgiveness than for permission, right?! I always tell him, as we get older, he'll totally appreciate my picture taking!! (And probably this blog, too.. even though that is unfathomable for him now! Love you, T ;))
