I am totally embarrassed to say I just now have officially unpacked both my VB duffle and tote since October 5. And today is November 1. Its been a busy, busy month with some sort of travel every weekend. It was the type of thing I wouldn't fully unpack a bag because I knew I'd be repacking so soon. I'm happy to be staying in one place this weekend!
In other news…
Janie and Paige have officially returned home! I got to see sweet Janie yesterday for the first time since she left for her surgery.
We were busy talking through a noodle :)
I've missed that little squirt!
(And just so ya know… she's wearing a catheter so that her bladder is emptied and does not get full and put pressure on any incision)
She was dying to check for eggs so we put pants and a jacket on and checked the coop. No eggs for the day yet… it was a little early!
And I never posted this picture I took of Madeline on the way back from her appointment on Tuesday. As I was pulling in the driveway, I look in the rearview mirror and see this…
A sleepy girl! While I've been driving, two Wright girls have officially fallen asleep in the back. I must wear them out or something ;-)
And I bet if I put Paige in the back of the car and drove around, knowing her last 11 days… she'd probably fall asleep, too! That'd make 3 :)
I'm with you, Madeline… its been a busy, eventful, at times tiring, full month! Sometimes I girls gotta rest!
And rest for this girl equals NO TRAVELING THIS WEEKEND! Yippeee!
