Ice Cream Sundae Cake

This is a really great dessert to serve when you have company over. (At least that's when Mom always made it, ha!) Its super easy to serve, looks impressive with the different layers, and I mean, who doesn't love ice-cream sandwiches with hot fudge and caramel?!

You need:

2 boxes of ice-cream sandwiches (24 total)
jar of caramel
jar of hot fudge
cool whip

Take a 9x13 pan and layer ice cream sandwiches on the bottom of the pan.
Use 1/2-3/4 of jar of caramel and spread over top of sandwiches.
Add another layer of ice cream sandwiches.
Use 1/2-3/4 jar of hot fudge and spread over top of sandwiches.
Top dessert with cool whip, cover with aluminum foil, and place in freezer.
Keep in freezer for 24 hours before serving.

The fun thing about this dessert recipe is you can make it your own! You could try different ice cream sandwich flavors and add different toppings (either between layers or on top of the cool whip)-- crushed oreo cookies, butterscotch chips, m&m's, chocolate chips, nuts, festive sprinkles, heath bar bits, peanut butter cups, crushed snickers, crushed butterfingers, etc! The list really goes on and on!
