two-a-days

This week has been so full! There was little time for blogging.

So just for fun, I thought I'd post two things from each day to document our week.

Monday I got free CFA for breakfast. I should have shared this earlier so you could have gotten it, too!

And I finally found out my last praxis score! 

I took 3 additional tests in August to add on with my Business Education/Business Technology certification. Now I can teach the core subjects grades 4-8 and English 7-12. Just making myself more marketable in hopes of getting a job in December/January. (and after taking 5 3-hour tests… there better be opportunity!)

Two fun thing about Tuesday:

I made 4 quarts of homemade salsa… and it will probably be all gone by next week ;-)

(I did give some to Whitney and Joey though)

And the boys won their game that night!

Wednesday: this is what it looks like as you're working on your teaching application and applying to add on endorsements+change your name on your current teaching license.

and this is what it looks like when you teach 4 year olds about Jonah and the whale. All you need is cool whip, blue food coloring, chocolate fish-shaped cookies, repetition, and patience. Lots of repetition and patience.

Thursday I enjoyed time sweating and reading...

and here's just a glimpse of how a husband and wife communicate when the husband is just coming home from school as the wife is just leaving to babysit a few hours.
