My TW

Troy has been so busy with school lately.
He's just got a lot going on as he's preparing for exams, working up patients to present every other week at the VA, on top of getting everything together to start rotations here in just a few months. (on top of working 8 hour shifts at The Med the past two Saturdays and Sundays--his two "off" days) Whew! The boy is a hard worker!

A few weeks ago, they had part of their day dedicated to learning more about the different rotation sites. Representatives from many of the rotations came and were available to answer questions about the site, what the company/hospital/practice does, what a typical day looks like for a student there, etc.

There were two Pharm D's there from Aegis, so, naturally, I (along with Dad, Mom, and Reece) got sent this picture! :-) haha
T said he asked them if they knew Tim Hayes… their response: "Oh yeah… he's one of our favorites!!" I mean… duh! I could have told them that! ;-)

T said there were less people there representing the Nashville rotations, but it was helpful nonetheless.

Another T accomplishment… He finally received his degree from Bethel!
Magna Cum Laude… yeah, yeah, yeah… ;-)

And finally, in preparation of choosing his 'priority pick' (that's due today)… a few nights ago, he had me retype out most of the rotation categories with the preceptors' names and where they're located, so he could better evaluate what he wanted to choose.

He ended up choosing a cardiology rotation, an infectious disease rotation, and an oncology rotation as his top 3… really hoping to get cardiology for sure! We will see...

Oh yeah, and he found out he got his top choice for his month off… June of next year! Yay!
Cue him saying… 'see, everything works out, Lauren. It always works out.'

Love my TW!
Good luck presenting your patient today and taking Exam #2 tomorrow!

"Live like no one else now so you can live like no one else later!"

P.S. If and when TW reads this, he will cringe. He would rather attention not be brought on him/not be talked about. But he's awesome and deserves some recognition for all his hard work over the past um… 19 years!… and definitely more recognition than a post on this measly little blog!
