No, this blog is not about us getting a puppy (or having baby, no way jose!!)… its about the newest additions to our living room.
Mom and I made new curtains for the front door while they were in town. The curtain that I previously had up was left by the home owners. It served its purpose fine while it was daylight out, but at night, I realized you could see through the blinds and curtains pretty easily, so we needed to fix that!

A few weeks ago, we added the rug to our living room and today we added the chair by the fireplace. It became evident while my parents were in town that we needed a little more seating (my dad sat in a kitchen chair while we visited in the living room-- I felt so bad, but we didn't have any more seating!)
The problem is solved now! :)
I'm debating on (eventually) getting something to set to the left of the chair… I feel like its kinda "naked" on the left side. Just something small. I think something like this would look good…
