**I just typed out this whole post and it didn't publish, so let me try this again…**
I've been hesitant to share this info… but I've decided to commit and tell…
T and I will be adding a puppy to our family!
A month ago, we mailed a deposit to get our sweet goldendoodle later this year and WE'RE SO EXCITED!
We've always said we wanted a big dog to go running with us. Initially… like when we were dating… we said we wanted to get a siberian husky with ice blue eyes, but knew it would mess with my allergies/that dog would shed like no other! So… we did some research and found that an f1b goldendoodle would be a perfect fit for us. A large, active dog with no/minimal shedding. And now we're obsessed with the breed! Like image.google and watch youtube videos daily. Don't judge us.
The reason I was hesitant in "going public" with this info was because I was afraid it wasn't going to work out, but now I'm much more confident.
See… at first we were #6 on the "female list" (and we really only want a girl) and I was scared Diva (mom) wasn't going to have 6 girl pups (her last litter she had 3 girls 10 boys).
But as you can see by the *** markings, some families have "moved" to get pups from different litters (Diva-Ryder and Godiva's litter) that are available before this one--Diva-Zeus
So, as of today, we're #3 on the "female preferred/female only" list and SURELY she'll have at least 3 girl pups!
We're just ecstatic and already in love… and she isn't even conceived ;)
I got even more excited yesterday when me and a girl from H'ville were texting back and forth about her and her family's newest addition--an f1b labradoodle that looks just like a goldendoodle. She said during her research, she looked into Goldens-n-Doodles--which came highly recommended to her she said--and talked with Teri (breeder) and said she was the nicest! Which, we've communicated with her via phone and email and thought the same thing--but its always good to hear it from someone else, too!
I told T the other day I've debated getting a toy and praying over it every night for our pup. Slightly weird and over-the-top? Yes. But it was a true thought of mine and a real conversation we had. "For this child dog, I have prayed." 1 Samuel 1:27 (Doggie Translation)
Just praying for 3 girl pups in Diva's belly! :)
