Celebrating our Anniversary

Saturday morning my parents left early and Troy and I stayed one more day to celebrate our one year.
We spent the morning at the condo before checking out and moving to our second condo to stay the night.

The ocean was like this every day--so pretty with no seaweed.

We're big readers at the beach. T read 3 books and I finished up one I was currently reading and started and finished another. Book worms.

Moving on to our second destination for our first anniversary!

We checked in, grabbed lunch at the bar at the condo, then walked on the beach to go visit Hicks, Denise, Maw, and Harlie.

Our reservations for dinner were pretty late… so we soaked up every last minute of the sunshine and came in the latest we had all week.

Troy's idea for a picture. Holding up #1's of course ;)

We went down to the beach as the sun was setting and took the classic 10 shot timer picture, twice. I'll spare you by only posting two.

(Once we got back to Memphis)… I uploaded these pictures to my laptop and looked back at some of the beach pictures we took on our honeymoon.

(top is our honeymoon and the bottom is our 1st year)

Its funny how similar they are!

For dinner we ate at Vue on 30a. It was really good.
Its right on the water and has a really cool bar area.
And a nice patio area with live music. The band was rocking and lots of people were dancing. It was a fun atmosphere.

I don't know why he won't smile for pictures…
See the full moon?

They even put fresh flowers on our table for our anniversary!
T said "he did it" and the one rose stood for our one year of marriage.
I laughed and said, yeah… and the white carnation stands for Chi Omega, right?! (that's the Chi O flower)

They even gave us dessert to celebrate!

Full moon off the ocean

We got back to our place and pulled out our cake to eat.
The top tier has been in our freezer all year!

That thing had been through a lot.
From Hville to Memphis.
From Memphis to FL.

Surprisingly, it tasted pretty good!

Sunday (our actual anniversary) we loaded up and headed out.
We had a great week with family and celebrating our first year of marriage!
