Just Some Instagram Pics

I hope everyone has had a great week!

I cannot believe tomorrow is Friday… weeks seem to fly by these days.

This weekend is a "Troy study weekend", so he will be really busy. Whitney and I are planning to do something Saturday together since our guys will be studying all day.

To say I'm extremely ready for "study weekends" to no longer be apart of our life is an understatement. I'm ready for "normal" weekends with my Troy Adam. (But then again… whats "normal" anyway?!)

I thought I'd do a phone dump of some Instagram pics from this past week.

First things first.
In line with the post I made a week or so ago about how Reece and I look so much like our parents, take a look at this.

Macy as a pup is on the left and a pic of Neylie from Christmas is on the right. They look so much alike!

I've come to determine we must like replication, and not steering too far from "originals":)
I've also determined Reece loves shorkies and Rochelle loves oriental rugs.

Friday I was sent these beautiful flowers from Hicks and Denise!
I loved (and still love) them and was completely surprised to receive them!
This pic is from Friday...

And this one is from Wednesday. They still look gorgeous as ever sitting on our kitchen island.

Later in the day (Friday), Hicks and Denise came to visit and stay for the weekend.
I love having guests!
We ate dinner at Huey's and went to the Grizz vs. Nets game.
We had great seats and Memphis won! It was a fun night.

Also on Friday I received something super fun in the mail.

No, not this save the date… I already had that…

But this!
(Should read "I can't say "I DO" without you! Will you be my bridesmaid?)

I sent this to Sara Saturday to show my excitement. My nose and left eye look squinched and squinted. Must be genuine happiness right there! Yay June 9th!

Saturday I headed east for our 2nd annual "us 4 smiley faces" reunion at the Lindsey's lake house.
The last time we did it was in December.
We tried to get a good date this December (like, last month), but never found one that worked for everyone, so we bumped it to January.

I left our home Saturday morning and met Laine and Robin at Laine's house in Nashville.
But first, I made a pit stop to see my Timmy Reecey, the house him and his buddies are living in this semester, and of course, Neylie!

Sweet girl! He was outside in the front with her when I pulled in the driveway.
Potty training is still in process, but its getting better.
She's gotten bigger, but still seems teeny-tiny.

Laine, Robin and I left Nash about 3 and headed to meet Abby in Cookeville to get dinner before heading to the lake house.

We had dinner at Olive Garden (of which, now, I will probably never eat again. There's a story…)

Love these girls so much!
I've never really watched Sex and the City before, but I know a little about the characters.
I know they are each very different but still the best of friends.
And I believe that's exactly how the "us 4 smiley faces" are.
We are each different but totally click and are forever "heart friends".
We get each other.

So, like I said, there's a story.
We got to the house probably around 9--after we had met up, ate, chatted forever, got a few groceries, and drove to the house. We built a fire--good thing we had girl scout Abby, unthawed our bodies from the cold, and talked and talked until about midnight or so, then headed off the bed.
Around 2 am, I woke up with my stomach hurting.
I got up, got some water, and laid back down, thinking it would soon go away.
I'd lay on my left side, switch to my right, back to my left… as it was starting to hurt worse and worse.
But I was determined not to get sick.
I did this until about 3:30 and realized this was not going away.
Long story short, I ended up getting sick and having my dad come pick me up.

I was scared of getting dehydrated again from losing so many fluids so quickly.
Did not want to revisit January 2011.
Dehydrated to the max from the exact same symptoms I was experiencing early early Sunday am.

Good times at Emory Hospital.
No.
NEVER again.

Anywho… Tim, the superhero, drove to get me (only about a 70 mile drive… much better than the drive to Atlanta that he made last year to get me), brought me Zofran to keep me from throwing up anymore and some Gatorade. Because daddies rock like that. Or at least mine does.

I ended up with a 100.6 fever and laid on my parents' couch all Sunday.
And this baby never left my side.
Its like she knew.
She's the sweetest one.

And I don't know what I had or what happened to get me all stomach-sick with a fever.
I don't know if it was food poisoning.
Or some type of 24-hr stomach virus--which I know had/has been going around.
Luckily, I had no fever on Monday and felt fine--except for being weak.
And, of course now, I'm 100% :)

Tuesday I kept Janie-Jane.
It was crazy-January weather and we spent some time outside, dominating the driveway.

Wednesday I worked at the clinic, was with Elisabeth until about 4, and then kept 4 year olds at Wed-night church for 2.5 hours. That, my friends, was a busy day.

Thursday I was at the clinic and tomorrow I will be as well :)

And tonight there's been a grocery run, dinner made, 3 loads of laundry, and some AI watching.
Troy is studying and rewatching lectures at the kitchen table.
I cut up a fresh cantaloupe and did my "weekly prep" for Troy's daily lunches.

(We really should buy stock in peanut butter and ranch dressing. It disappears at our house.)

We face timed with Brittany, Lawson, and Averi and got to hear Averi say "Bye T", "Bye La". I about died.

WE LIVE A GLAMOROUS LIFE PEOPLE ;-)
