My mom would make this corn with cream cheese that was really good. I didn't have the recipe so I searched Pinterest for one that was similar.
This is the recipe I found that we had a few nights ago. It was good!
What you need:
1 (16 oz) package frozen corn kernels
2 Tbsp butter
1 package of cream cheese, cut to 3 oz
salt and pepper
In medium saucepan cook corn according to package directions and drain liquid.
Put butter and cream cheese in microwaveable bowl and nuke for 1 min.
Add butter mixture to corn.
Cook stirring occasionally over low heat.
I ended up getting Mom's recipe… here it is:
(Again, similar but different)
2 bags of frozen white shoe peg corn
1 stick butter
1 block of cream cheese
salt and pepper to taste
Cook shoe peg corn according to directions.
Melt butter and cream cheese and add to corn.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
