I've been MIA from this whole blog thing.
But I'm back.
Expect lots of "latergrams" and pictures from the last few weeks over the next few days.
For good 'ole memories sake.
T has been using my laptop a lot for school so tonight is the first time I've had the opportunity to do anything with it (because today was test-Monday, yay! Only 2 more of those this semester!)
He's used mine rather than his hp because his struggles and sounds like an airplane taking off when you turn it on.
And speaking of airplanes…
My mother conquered her fear of flying today!
If y'all know her---THIS IS A BIG DEAL!
It was her first time to fly in 12 years and I'm so proud of her :)
Dad travels for work pretty frequently and this go-round, she FINALLY committed to going along with him.
I hope she continues to do so! They always have so much fun together and Dad goes to some pretty cool places with work--its silly for her fear of flying to keep them from making so many good memories. Or at least that's mine, Reece, and Dad's opinion. :)
Dad sent me this picture this morning.
My response--"Baby Step #1--board the plane."
Dad's response--"Step 2--hold on and trust the Lord with technology and gravity."
"She has on the Bose headphones. Eating a blow pop. And reading… a diversion of the activity at hand." Oh me.
And then a short hour and 20 mins later I got the "SHE DID IT!" text :)
Before all this, Mom had texted me early that morning: "Flying out at 8:10. Love you so much. Pray for me. This is a big step. Faith and fear cannot reside in the same heart. Trusting Him."
And ain't that the truth.
Faith and fear cannot reside in the same heart.
May my faith always be bigger, stronger, and more evident than any fear or unknown I face.
May it be active, rather than just verbal.
