Anywho, my day was pretty solid. Troy and I celebrated Valentine's this past weekend while he was home (did I already state this in the previous post? I don't even know!). A simple rose, a sweet card, and going to see The Vow (no dinner... sore wisdom teeth!) was the perfect date for me. I think ideally, my favorite Valentine's gift/date would be flowers and dinner and/or movie. No jewelry. No chocolates. No stuffed bears. Seriously, that every year would be perfect and never get redundant.
I got T a new backpack for Vday. (Red means love, right?!)
He still carried the same backpack from middle school. That's right... he's 22 and still carries his middle school backpack all around his pharmacy school's campus. LOVE that boy... he is so minimal-- but in a good way. He'd carry the same backpack for 9 years, whereas I'd get 9 new bags to carry during one year. I should probably take notes. He keeps me grounded.
(P.S. T and I both enjoyed The Vow. I was a little skeptical on how the ending would be because there are many Notebook-y movies that I don't like the ending, i.e. Dear John, but the ending of The Vow I thought was good. A side note: The dress that Rachel McAdam's character's sister wears in the movie is a Paloma Blanca dress--the designer of my dress! Just a little fun fact...)
I was greeted with another Valentine present this morning. Sweet father never drops the ball. This was sitting in the front seat of my car:
Enough with the V-day bus-nass.
We have officially received the first of our wedding gifts!!
Based on the sizing and weight, I'd say it's some of our Emma dinnerware! So so so so excited! And absolutely LOVE their wrapping and details. Crisp, clean, and simple. Bonus: All gift wrapping is complimentary!
Everyone, hurry! Go log on Facebook and like our photographer, Paul Rowland's page! He just created an account specifically for his business (rather than use his personal account for personal and business). He's already uploaded some albums of some of the more recent work he's done. He has such a passion for photography... both digital and film. Love the way film photography develops, but he won't use it on the wedding day because there's a whole-lot-more risk doing so. Like it, like it, like it!
Two new beauty purchases--essie nail polish and It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In. That hair product really is a miracle. It repairs dry damaged hair, adds shine, smoothes and controls frizz, seals and protects hair color, detangles, stops hair breakage, flat iron spray and thermal protector, creates silkiness, enhances natural body, and prevents split ends!!! All. in. one. bottle.
Our everyday-ware will be mostly whites, ivories, and tans. The more espresso/chocolate brown will be used with more of our "formal" settings, and the sage/mossy green is just a fun accent color that will be splashed in here and there. Ahhh--I'll have a full out, complete, "big-girl" kitchen!! #pumped
Got a late Christmas present from Mom recently... I'll soon be trading this hat:
for this hat:
(both hats from Initial This)
One last thing... our registry is up online at Patricia Jane & Company!
--A couple things: First of all, I went on Monday to clarify some things and to make a few last finishing touches to the registry. Everything that we're registered for is not on my display table. Also, everything that we're registered for is not listed on the website. I have made a few changes/added a few items since they put it on the site. Another thing--it doesn't list our April 15 shower date. Just a little FYI about our registry there! Love, love, love so many things in that little shoppe!
Love you guys!

P.S.S. I love the day after a new posting when you guys text me about what I've written. It brings a :) to my face!
