98 Days

I hope everyone has had a great weekend! Weekends are just really great. Good time to relax, catch up on everything you had planned on doing during the week, and spend time with family. My weekend has consisted of going to eat dinner at Painturo's (really good pizza place in Gallatin--love the Hawaiian pizza!) seeing This Means War (enjoyed the movie--very funny and love Reese!), doing Jillian Michaels workout DVD, watching the Vols (lose), shopping at Lebanon Outlet Mall and Providence Mall, planning on attending but not actually attending HHS vs. Mt. Juliet tournament game (HHS won!), and eating dinner at Bellacino's. (No more Italian for a while!) Tomorrow will be church-day and planning out this upcoming week-day. (P.S. I haven't blogged about this, but for the past month or so I've been volunteering in the student ministry at Long Hollow. I'm a leader (with another lady) on Sunday mornings of a 10th Grade Girls Small Group. I really enjoy it! We are doing the chronological bible study-- we're still in Genesis. I enjoy getting to know the girls a little better each week. Most all are BHS students, although there are 1-2 SCHS students. Quest is this coming weekend--pray for an awesome weekend for the students! We were planning on being a host home but you have to be a member and we aren't members yet... I need to have a whole posting about that!)

Anways... what else is up?!

Troy and I are officially LESS THAN 100 days out! We are pumped!

Yet another Pinterest project...

Inspiration

My version:

Thought it'd be cute to put on display at my showers!

I've been going through lots of pictures for the slideshow for our rehearsal dinner. I won't share those pictures, but what I will share are a few gem I've found while searching.

Here's one:

The Taylor Swift magazine Troy was featured in.

Look at my just-a-head fiancé! Haha... I specifically remember a girl calling me and asking me if I really wasn't going to prom with Troy and Taylor was taking him. Yeah... right.

Here's another...

Chelle as Miss October on Pike's calendar. She will kill me for putting this on here. The funny thing is Pike still does their calendar every year to raise money for their philanthropy. #traditionnevergraduates

Here's one last discovery:

Mom and I's Chi Omega-Pi Chapter composite pictures. "What is it?"

I emailed Paul, our photographer, some of our favorite engagement pictures to be used on our 30-page guest book... he said he'll start building our album and have our preliminary design back to us in less than a week! Exciting!

Last week was my first full week being back at work since my wisdom teeth extractions. I still really enjoy working there. Everyone I work with is so nice and friendly. And the greatest perk-- no set schedule, come in whenever, leave whenever, don't have to ask off/ask to leave! Couldn't get that anywhere else!

Reece plays on a Men's City Basketball league. They have games every Wednesday and we always go. Before their game this week, we had dinner at Sax's Deli. I must mention this in my blog. Sax's Deli is probably my favorite (local) place to eat in Hendersonville. It is amazing. If you have not eaten there, you MUST! It's just this "hole-in-the-wall" deli off Walton Ferry, but it is so very yummy. They serve fresh, unique sandwiches and have awesome hand-cut fries with this delicious seasoning. You will not regret going there! If you go, let me know what you think!

So like I mentioned before, I'm getting married in less than 100 days. That means I will fall asleep next to a boy and wake up next to a boy (the same boy). Every day. Currently when I go to bed every night I wear a huge, worn out, probably has holes in it t-shirt with boxer shorts. I'll be honest. It's not cute. I have a feeling the boy I will fall asleep next to won't think it's too cute either. So recently I've been purchasing some "real" pajamas. Its almost time to retire the old UT t-shirts from when my parents were in school and wear these:

Believe me... these are all much cuter than what I'm currently wearing. (My t-shirt really does have a hole in the armpit right now. Have mercy.)

This past Wednesday morning was the 6th session of James: Mercy Triumphs study. Here are some of my favorite points from this week:

--"There is no high like the Most High." --Beth Moore

--People who walk in the Spirit judge "things". Not people.

--If we're in Christ, the Devil cannot have our souls. For us, eternity is settled. (But our effectiveness is always at risk.)

--To live a life of perfection is not to make all A's or to never miss a Sunday at church; rather, it is to live a life true to our identity.

--"Whoever wants to be the world's friend becomes God's enemy." James 4:4

--If I can't ask God for it, He's not in it. Remember James 1:17 (Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.) and how we learned that, if it's a good gift, it's a God-gift. The reverse is also true: If it can't come from God, it can't be good.

--3 Stop Signs to Unanswered Prayers (this isn't from the study... this was shared from one of the ladies in our small group breakout session)
1. unconfessed sin
2. unbelief (that God isn't capable of what you're praying)
3. wrong motives

Look at my pretty friends!--SB and Leslie are in the first two pictures on the main page for the Panhellenic Preview weekend at UT!

Alright, one last thing... I feel weird posting things like this but my dearest friend Sara Nicholson has encouraged me to post more about this so... here is another clothing/fashion find posting!

As I've said many times on this blog, my favorite stores are T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, and Ross. I've come to realize people either love these stores or hate these stores. There is no real in-between. I personally love them and get a thrill out of searching through racks and racks (and racks) of clothes and putting together my own outfits rather than going to Macy's or Ann Taylor and getting items that there are numerous pieces in numerous sizes and colors or getting something straight off the mannequin. (Don't get me wrong.. I do enjoy occasional purchases from those type of stores) butttt I. love. rummaging.

So here are a few of my latest purchases. I found this cute Sanctuary cow neck sweater, much like this one. It was originally priced at $88, but I got it for $32.99. I paired it with a long sleeve basic Ralph Lauren top (that Denise got me!), Banana Republic black leggings, and Bucco brown boots for a cute, SUPER COMFY casual outfit.
P.S. that revolveclothing.com website has awesome brands and has free shipping AND free returns! That's better than driving somewhere to shop!

On Thursday I had a doctor's appointment in Nashville so afterward Mom and I headed to the Brentwood T.J. Maxx (the best T.J. Maxx in middle TN!) to do some quick browsing. (We were meeting Reece in Green Hills for lunch so we had to hurry.) During our short time there I found and put together this cute springy outfit. Blazer: Cynthia Rowley, blouse: spense, jeans: Michael Kors

Can't wait to wear white again! (and especially on May 26th!!!)
