A "Week"end, or a Strongend?!

I'm gonna go with a strongend! I spent the last few days at home after being in M'boro for my second week. Everyone's continually asking me how I like it and I'm like I'm fine! I really am! I'm liking it more than I thought I would. Yeah, it's not my first choice, but hey I'm here so I'm going to make the best of it! Attitude is a choice and I'm going to choose to have a good one!

If you don't like it, change it. If you can't change it, change the way you think about it." Coach Derek Dooley.

Friday I headed back home. That night Troy and I went to the Hendersonville Homecoming game with his family. My parents stopped by for the last quarter. I've decided I only like going to the high school games if Troy's parents go so we can sit on the track haha. I'm not a big fan of being in the bleachers with those crazy parents and kids! After the game, Troy and I went to the movies. That boy loves movies!

Saturday I started my morning off by running down the boulevard to The Streets. I've never ran that route just for fun--I've ran it for part of the Indian Lake Loop or the Crisis Pregnancy Run--but I really enjoyed. I've been craving running a really good route because I have yet to find one in M'boro, and I think that satisfied it! (I MISS SEQUOYAH!) That afternoon, Troy and I did some homework together before getting ready to head to Nashville. That night we went to the Vandy v. LSU game. FUN FACT: We are current season ticket holders to Vanderbilt games. Haha, that makes me laugh for some reason. But we are. Dad mainly got them to go to the UT v. Vandy game.

Before the game, we ate at SATCo. Their cheese dip is the best cheese dip. Ever. We walked from SATCo to the game. I really like Vandy's campus and the area of town it's in. I guess since I've "grown up" in Nashville I've never really considered Nashville being a college town, but it really is a great one! I would have loved going to college in that area (Belmont/Lipscomb)--so many trendy, neat places and cool things to do! I liked the stadium, too. It's much smaller than any other SEC stadium it's safe to say, but I liked it because the worst seats aren't even that bad! Bonus: I got to see ROBIN at the game! Robin loves VU!

Vandy ended up losing the game--no real surprise. But surprisingly, LSU didn't look too hot either. It was still a fun night--great football weather! After the game, Troy and I went to Sweet Cece's back in H'ville. It was a great Saturday night! (Vols lost baddd :( They had the momentum, but lost it during the lightening delay it seems like. Oh well, GO VOLS!)

It was a good weekend at home, but looking forward to the next two weekends--one in east TN for the UT v. FL game!--and one in west TN for Troy's game!

P.S. Troy's surgery was cancelled! They want Troy back in, despite his torn rotator cuff. I guess Will hasn't impressed them as much as they'd hoped. Getting back his starting position that he deserves! I know he can do it! Praying for his arm and for his game next weekend in WV. God is faithful! PTL!

Really bright lighting for some reason.
