We had such a great weekend!
Our friends from Memphis came to visit.
Goodies for their stay--complete with a copy of Nashville Scene and kettle corn from Hendersonville Produce :)
They got in Friday night. We ate dinner at Rio and then just hung out at the house and visited.
Saturday was BEAUTIFUL.
The boys got up and went to T's bible study and then played basketball.
Whitney and I took full advantage of the gorgeous weather and walked on the greenway from the baseball fields to the library and back.
I loved enjoying the sunshine, walking, and catching up. We are like the same person.
For lunch we went to Edley's and sat on the patio.
Because WEATHER.
So yummy!
(Although I laugh... we ate BBQ when our Memphis friends come in town... ironic.)
After lunch, we decided to walk off some of the grub by strolling on the pedestrian bridge.
Because WEATHER.
We took them to Trader Joe's for their first experience.
Because COOKIE BUTTER.
We also stopped and browsed Nadeau so Whitney and I could dream a dream of decorating and fully furnishing a house.
Boys, why don't you finish school on up so we can get on that?! ;-)
We also made a stop at Opry Mills. I got a skirt from H&M, Whitney got some shorts from J.Crew, Joey got a shirt from Haggar, and T didn't get a thing.
Because PENNY PINCHER.
Coincidentally, Joey's brother and his wife were in Nashville, so we paid a visit to them on our way back home.
They live in AL but they were in town for a baseball tournament.
Sunday we went to church and then met my parents and Reece at Pancake Pantry for breakfast.
Thankfully, Mom and Dad got there before us, and waited in line so we could bypass the hour wait.
We literally parked and walked over and they were right at the door about to be seated.
Perfect timing--it was a beautiful thing.
It was a full weekend, but we loved every minute.
Whitney and Joey WE CAN'T WAIT until y'all are HERE!
Just 9 more months and we can have more weekend adventures :)
