TheLongAwaitedChristmasBreak

Since about mid-October, I have been praying for this break. December 17th was a day that continually ran through my mind... fall semester would finally be over and Christmas break would be mine. How glorious!

Occurrences over Christmas Break '10:

I got my pottery back from Kiersten's birthday party. I gave it to my parents as part of their Christmas.

I've gotten to go to many of Reece's games over break. I love watching him play.

Troy and I made our annual gingerbread house.

White chocolate galore. I cannot tell you how many times I made white chocolate covered pretzels over the break. I made them for Troy and my family numerous times.

This year we also made "white chocolate puffs" using puffcorn (butter flavored) and a bag of white chocolate chips. It sounds different, but tastes really good!

Lunch at Calypso with Laine, Robin, and Sarah. Lucayan salad and boija muffins for everyone!

Laine's lake house with girls. Cheddars, Krogering, puppychow, imaginiff, catching up, The Holiday, futuristic talk, sisterhood... too good to be true!

Music City Bowl game where UT got robbed.

Reece's sweet kicks.

Gatlinburg for New Years with the Watsons. Going on #5...

Lunch with Leslie and Laine. I wish I lived in The Retreat with y'all.

In years past, Leslie, SB, Cait, and I have always done "Secret Santa" and gone to the Melting Pot to celebrate Christmas together. I am so so so sad we did not do it this year. It's made me realize that we are just getting older and are busy individually where it's hard to schedule things that work with everyone's schedule. I hate it! Love you girls!

It's been a great break... not looking forward to all the school work starting back up, but I just keep reminding myself... just 18 hours of course work this semester, then no more classes for undergrad! I think I can... I think I can...
