but here is an update of my past two weekends/weeks/justaupdateonmylife!
I have been ridiculously busy and have not had time to have any new posts. Prime example: my previous post. It was just a bunch-a rambling.
P.S. Shout out to Robin and Leslie for reminding me I haven't blogged in a while... true friends right there.
Okay, the last time I posted was in the middle of the week 2 weeks ago. That Friday, I came home, got my hair cut, ran errands with Mom, got my oil changed... all those routine/maintenance things I do when I'm home... all of which are extremely exciting to read about I'm sure.
One thing to mention though is that night we rented the move To Save A Life. It is one of low-budget, Christian-based movies, but it was really really good. It made you think about how you treat people and value them on a day-to-day basis. Good movie... I would recommend it!
Saturday was game day! Mom and I rode with the Watson's to Troy's day game. *Reminder: Troy played most/almost all of the previous weeks game in West Virginia AND THEY WON* Because apparently thinking logically does not come easy for the Bethel Football's coaching staff, Troy didn't play but a few series the whole game. While he was in though, they scored 2 TDs. They lost. Whatever. I'm over it. At this point, I was so ready for him to decide to go ahead and have his surgery and start healing!

Then, of course, it was a crazy week but the weather was awesome! I just wanted to be outside all the time!
Exhaust yourself in the glorious pursuit of life. And don't worry, I'm exhausted! :)
Reece had an eventful week:
During this week he started feeling bad, went to the doctor, and tested positive for MONO! Poor thing. Apparently, he has a really bad case--one of the worsts his doctor has ever seen. He's been really really tired. Everyone pray for a fast recovery!
During this week he got his ACT test scores back (he won't stop taking the test... he's crazy... he improves every single time!) and he got a 32 and now has a superscore of 33.25. That boy is just too smart.
During this week, he went to Knoxville with Mom and Dad for an official visit to UT. But this wasn't just an ordinary visit. He was invited to the Chancellor's Honors Invitational... or something like that. I mean... I got that invite, too... ;)
It's crazy that he is a senior! I can't believe it! Earlier in September he got invited to another thing in Nashville where all these colleges came to promote their school. Some of the ones I can remember off the top of my head are Stanford, Duke, Harvard, Yale, Penn State, Georgetown... what the heck?!
So far he is applying to UT, Belmont (more info later), Lipscomb, Duke and UK. (Eww... UK) I can't wait to see where God leads him!
After last week and my crazy schedule, I just decided to stay here in Murfreesboro. I hadn't stayed here one weekend since I've started school here and I was ready to just chill and not feel so go-go-go even on the weekend! I had a lot of school work to attend to (which I did a lot, but not as much as I had planned on... ooops), and I just figured I could stay at my apartment and get caught up and ready for the many assignments due the following week. Plus, Troy was in Mississippi, Mom and Dad were in Knox/went to the Sheryl Crow concert in Nash so I'd be home alone anyway, and UT's game was away.
I had a good weekend to myself...got a mani/pedi... ran... did homework. All that good stuff. But something prevented me from getting as much work done as I had planned...
Earlier in the day I was talking to Robin and Laine on the phone. They suggested for us to meet up in Cookeville (halfway) for dinner! I was sososososooso happy to see them. I don't think I had laughed that hard in a long time. I really really really really really really miss them.

Sunday consisted of church, homework, long run with Tien, homework, dinner, and homework. I went to New Vision for the first time this year and really liked it! Brady is so great! He is SO funny and just a really good speaker overall. I wish he was still at FBCH.
Pretty solid weekend.
Now... Monday's over which makes me happy. (Typically leave my apartment at 10-11 AM and go til 9 PM with only an hour and a half break. No thanks.)
My new method on taking everything day-by-day. Write everything I need to do in 2-3 days and as I complete it, I throw the sticky note away!
Troy is officially having surgery next week. I'm ready for him to be healed! Pray for him!
Reece went to a visit at Belmont yesterday (Monday) and LOVED it! I think he will end up there. I hope he does. I think it would be a good place for him.
I'M GOING TO BEEE AN ANTTTTTT! (think futuristic and in-law)
Haha, no but really, Brittany and Lawson's baby is on his/her way! She is 15 weeks along! On Friday they went for their first ultra sound.

At 15 weeks, the fetus is only 4 inches. FOUR INCHES!
Well... I guess that concludes my blog for today. Glad I could catch up!
