Whoever knew it would be so hard...?

to find a rug for my apartment, that is!

Haha, yesterday was a pretty eventful day.  It was technically my first day to sleep in since I had my last day of work on Tuesday. (Wednesday and Thursday I got up early to take car loads to my new apartment).  For some reason I cannot sleep in as late as I used to!  I hate it because I really do enjoy sleeping late if I can.  Anywayyy I went ahead and got up and did a few things around the house.  I tried to lay out yesterday, mainly because I never get to when I'm working, but I just couldn't get myself to stay still!  I hate when you feel like you have a lot to do and so you can't get yourself to just relax.  I probably was only out in the sun for an hour before I decided to come back in.

Mom and I ended up heading out later that afternoon on one mission:  to find a chocolate shaggy rug to put in my apartment living room.  Seriously, I never thought we'd have such trouble finding one.  On Wednesday and Thursday when we were in Murfreesboro, we looked at Lowes, Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Old Time Pottery and had no luck.  So then yesterday, we went searching back around home.  We went to Lowes, Home Depot, Big Lots, Home Goods, Ross, Kohls, Target, and World Market.  Out of allllll those stores we went to, we finally got one at Target.
13 stores for 1 rug
It's so simple, but yet it was so hard to find! Mom and I did a little more running around afterward... we were just so thankful to have finally found a rug!

We met dad out for dinner at Dos Margaritas. I think Dos is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Hendersonville.  So very yummy. I love Mexican food--so much that that was actually my second night in a row to have it for dinner! (Troy's parents had me over for a "going away" dinner and made Mexican because they know it is mi favorita!)
Yummy! Fajita quesadilla!
After dinner, we came home and I was playing with Macy and I was reminded that the Noble's just got a new puppy the night before and so Mom and I ran up to their house to see their newest addition, Wilson! Okay, seriously, this puppy is the cutest ever!  He is part Havanese and part Poodle. So very precious!  He had to weigh all of... 1 pound. Seriously, teeny tiny with a little teddy bear looking face! I'm sure SB and Molly can't wait to get home to see him!
He makes me want to have my very
own little pup! Macy and Wilson are
going to be best puppy friends!
Later last night we watched The Last Song.  I had already seen it, but M & D had not.  (Mom read the book over spring break though, so she already knew what it was about.) I really like the storyline, but the acting, not so much. Sorry Miley!  Watching it makes me want to just love on my Daddy!

I'm glad I'm able to have days/nights like I had yesterday before I head off to school.  I always loved being in Knoxville, and I'm sure I'll grow to enjoy being up in M'boro, but home is definitely where the heart is <3.
