Where have you been?

Okay, okay… I know… the real question is, "Where have I been?"… and here is my attempt to answer just that.

Two weekends ago was my bachelorette party/lingerie shower weekend. I had so much fun and am so thankful for each girl that made the weekend so special for me! Here are some pictures from the weekend...

I've officially started the packing up process for the big move. It is tiring and exciting all at the same time!

Last week Mom and I had lunch with Susan at YOLOs to visit and finalize some things about the bridesmaids' brunch. I got the invitation in the mail today… its beautiful! I can't wait… should be a special time with special people and yummy food!

Last weekend was the Country Music City Marathon and 1/2 Marathon. I didn't run in the race, but I did attend. If you haven't ran in it, I encourage you to train and run. If you have ran in it, I encourage you to stand on the sidelines and cheer the runners on. Both are very inspiring!
I took this picture just as the runners started getting to Belmont Blvd. I believe these people are in one of the first few corrals. Meaning, these people are insane.

Here is my dad with a guy he works with, Todd, and his twin. The Foster twins run in races all the time. Wearing crazy things, always matching. Dad named them "White Lightning" for this race as they are wearing white suits. They ran in full marathon a few months ago that was sponsored by Publix. They had the creative idea of pushing Publix grocery carts and wearing the Publix aprons that the employees wear as they ran the race. And they did just that. They are nuts. (Todd has triplets that he has named "The Killer Bees"… I'm hoping that you're getting a sense of his funny personality. Reiterates how him and my dad are friends.)

Dad didn't run the whole half marathon race-- he hadn't trained at all. He loves the hype of it and wanted to run in at least part of it. I met him in the middle of it and we enjoyed more of the day, got breakfast at Bongo Java, watched more runners, and took in the atmosphere of it all.

Earlier this week, my rents and I headed to Memphis for T's White Coat Ceremony. What an amazing accomplishment for him as officially completed his P1 year of Pharm school as he put on that white coat! I was so thankful that we all got to be there to witness it during the special ceremony (even though I felt terrible that day!) So proud of him and his hard work and dedication! He's going to be excellent at what he does!

Last night Dad and I had a daddy-daughter-double-date with Kayla and Jimmy Jenkins. We had such a fun time going to eat and then going to the Pred's playoff game. We got to stay in the Hardaway's suite which is always so much fun! Time with my daddy is so sweet right now…

Tomorrow I'm having lunch with my friend Katie after I have my final dress fitting at Arzelle's… hope all the alterations are not too loose, not too tight, juuuuust right! Eeeek! Only 23 days till I'm a married woman and 24 days until we'll be heading to Punta Cana!
