Marchin' into March

I CANNOT believe it is already March. Where is this year going?! Everything is just flying by!

Perfect example: Averi is turning 1 in just 12 days? Really?! I'm pretty sure it was just a few months ago when I headed to Baptist from Murfreesboro to meet her. That is just too crazy! Where is all the time going?!

Because her birthday is less than 2 weeks away, we took some of her 12 month pictures this weekend. Here are some of my favorites! (Love the first lavender outfit--I got that for her as part of her Christmas... are those not the cutest pants??!)

This coming weekend is the weekend of my first bridal shower! Ahhhh I'm so excited and cannot believe it is almost here! Where is all the time going?!

Because my showers are about to start up, I needed to get some wedding stationery to write the many thank-yous! Last week, I designed and picked out 3 different types of stationery. Coming to a mailbox near youuuu...

I got a lot more of the "lauren + troy" note cards and our new monogram note cards (rather than my monogram folded cards--those will "expire" soon--haha!) because we can use those for other things in the future--not just wedding thank-yous! All were printed in either white or ecru paper with charcoal gray print color. I think they look great, if I do say so myself!

Also last week I received my garter(s) and my dress label I ordered from etsy.com! Just 83 days until I will wear both of these... where is all the time going?!

The garter with my new monogram I will wear, the other is a "toss" garter, and the dress label will serve as my "something blue!" (I've figured out my "something new" and "something borrowed" as well--still thinking about my "something old"!)

Like I mentioned in a previous post, last Wednesday Mom and I went to my wedding cake appointment to design the cake. After much discussion and debate, I decided to combine the bottom three pictures to then create a cake similar to my hand-drawing at the top that I drew at work haha! Diamonds, scrolls, and scallops are the 3 basic designs... all in white, on a 6-tiered round cake! Still debating on which cake flavors... planning on having 2 different flavors--something traditional and something "fun". Guess you'll just have to come and taste to find out!! ;)

Crazy week ahead... gotta get my "to-do" list ready... lata gata.
